I'm on day 1 of my pre-cleanse and man first couple days are gonna be tough with limited food.. I'm doing this cleanse to clean the toxins out of my body and increase my energy levels, not so much for the weight loss although I will lose weight for sure doing this.. May dad is a few days ahead of me on the program and has already dropped 5 pounds in 4 days.. You are losing the fat from your body , not the muscle, so that is definitely a good thing.. You really notice those fast food commercials on tv a lot more now then you do while eating normally..lol...
I'm a fairly big/muscular guy and have worked out steady the past 10 years so interested to see how this cleanse will affect my workouts with limited food to eat.. may have to tone things down for 10 days and stick to the cardio.. Using my tanita body fat scale this morning,,, weighed in at 217 pounds and 16% body fat,, we will see where these numbers add up at the end of this cleanse..
this is how the schedule works:
1) A 2 day pre-cleanse - gets your body ready for the cleanse. For both days you have a chocolate protein shake and energy accelerator pill for breakfast, a 400-600 Calorie meal for lunch (low fat and high fiber) along with another energy pill, and a chocolate protein shake for dinner. It is recommended to drink lots of water (8-10 glasses) and exercise 20-30 minutes a day throughout the entire cleanse process
2) Days 1 and 2 - Throughout the day you have 4 berry flavored Isagenix drinks mixed with water, a key part of the cleansing process.. no food at all for these 2 days except for little snack pills they provide you with which are supposed to curb your hunger. Hah,,yah right,,we'll see about that.
3) Days 3-7 - Very similar to the pre-cleanse,, back to chocolate protein shakes , energy pills, and a 400-600 low fat calorie meal at lunch..
4) Days 8-9 - The final 2 days of this cleanse revert back to day 1 and 2 programs of drinking the berry flavored Isagenix liquid mix and snack pills..
